Send Us Your Auction Items by FRIDAY!
Time is running out for you to strategize on all the wonderful ways you can have fun with your family and friends, donate, and contribute to the grand total of our annual drive for tuition indexing!

Donations – online or written forms – are requested by this Friday, February 25: We need your help to reach our fundraising goal of $150,000!

Be creative and have fun with your solicitations and donations. To assist your last-minute brainstorming here are a few samples of things people have donated in the past that generated great financial results:

  • Restaurant certificates to local eating establishments: Blowfish Sushi , Pauline's Pizza, The Grove, Tartine Bakery & Cafe.
  • Tickets to performances and sporting events: SF Conservatory, Berkeley Symphony, Disney on Ice, the Giants, the 49ers.
  • Use of a second home or vacation rental for a weekend: the Russian River, Sonoma, Lake Tahoe, Gold Country.
  • Community Gatherings - dinners for adults, playdates for kids, and outings for the whole family.

The school community has responded very well so far but we still have a way to go to reach our goal. We need you to help make it a reality! Think of something you uniquely have to offer or something that you would love to bid on. Our school community has a strong history of pulling together to achieve great things, like a successful auction ... now is the time we need to COME TOGETHER to achieve our fundraising goal!

How is Your Class Project and Ad Coming Along?
A reminder to all classes that the following is due by this Friday:

  1. Titles, Descriptions and value* of class projects
(required for data entry - please include!)
  2. Artwork for class and/or sports teams ads with specified sizes

Payment for ads and actual class donations can be turned in later, but we do need the above by this Friday! Thank you!

Auction Business Database – Now Open to All Parents!
The entire SFS parent/guardian community can access our new Auction Business Database in the Parent Portal. (Please note, you will need to log in with your Parent Portal password information to access.) Search through hundreds of local businesses and merchants to see who you might be able to contact for a solicitation on behalf of our students!

This is a great way to get involved and volunteer for the Auction, on your own schedule and flexibility! You can find an overview of how to use the Auction Business Database here, and then click the link above to get started!
