Jeanie has been enamored with SFS since the moment her then three-year-old daughter first passed through the Gaven Street gates. As an SFS parent, Jeanie has volunteered in the library, for admissions and advancement, and as a room parent. She has served as a trustee since 2015, co-chaired the Public Purpose Committee (2015-17), and chaired the Strategic Planning Committee (2016-17).  She has a continuing interest in promoting communication and community within SFS as well as the Portola and surrounding neighborhoods.

She received an Sc.B in Psychology with Honors from Brown University and a medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. As a board certified vascular surgeon in private practice in Greater Boston, she also served as Division Chief of Vascular Surgery at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and Co-Director of the Cardiac and Endovascular Center of Hallmark Health. In 2012, Jeanie, her husband Dana, and their daughter migrated west to San Francisco. She currently serves on the Brown Club of SF Board of Directors.
