SFS Announces Search for Head of School

With change comes opportunity. Together, we look forward to identifying the next Head of School to lead The San Francisco School into its next chapter.

In March 2022, Steve Morris announced that he will step down as Head of School after the 2022-23 academic year. Steve is a much beloved Head of School who has made a profound impact on the School’s program, facilities, financial sustainability, and culture since 2008.

Alumni, staff, students, and families will miss his leadership, but Steve will remain an active member of our community as a proud alumni parent to two sons (Class of ’19 and ’21) and parent to his elementary student daughter. We are extremely grateful for his leadership and look forward to celebrating him and his accomplishments at SFS over the next year.
