Celebrating the incredible teaching and administrative staff who help make SFS such a wonderful place for students to learn and grow.
As we prepare to close out the school year and kick off summer, SFS families came together to celebrate our teachers and staff with a fun week of activities to show our collective gratitude and care.
The week began with teachers and staff finding their lounge decorated with flowers and butterflies and a large “Thank you!” sign framing a table filled with sweet and savory snacks and chocolate treats. Later that afternoon, they were surprised with a delivery of ice cream sandwiches, delivered by a parent in time for lunchtime gatherings.
Throughout the week, caregivers dropped off gifts of wine, candles, chocolates, homemade treats, succulents, honey, and more to help stock the gift table that would surprise teachers with a range of options to take home and enjoy.
And students were asked to create homemade flowers and design personalized cards, which were then delivered to each classroom and office, further surprising teachers and staff with expressions of appreciation and love.
The week capped off with monetary gifts to deeply thank teachers and staff for their wonderful support and hard work, and to recognize the incredible partnership across families, teachers, and staff as we all come together to keep the SFS community strong.
Thank you to all the families who participated in this year’s SFS Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! As shared by Head of School Steve Morris, “it provided that extra boost in one of the final weeks of school.”
