I am so thrilled to be part of the dynamic and unique community at The San Francisco School, and I look forward to teaching and learning alongside your wonderful children!
I grew up in Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, and San Jose, as well as other parts of California. I also briefly lived in Seattle. Although California has always been home, I was born in Chicago and am of Sicilian heritage. My family immigrated from Agrigento, Sicily, and I love sharing my family's rich culture and traditions with others.
For eight years, I worked as a teacher and on-call Site Supervisor at a Spanish bilingual program serving the Dogpatch and Potrero Hill communities. During that time, I discovered how deeply rewarding it is to help children grow, learn, and develop confidence in themselves.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration from San Francisco State University and hold a California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.
I believe every child brings something unique and extraordinary into the classroom, and it is a privilege to be part of their journey as they discover who they are and what they can become.
