The San Francisco School feels like a second home to me, with a warm and inclusive community that feels like family. I grew up in the Philippines, and moved to the Bay Area after getting my bachelor’s degree in psychology. Upon arriving here, I went back to school for my Montessori Early Childhood Education teaching credential, and I’ve been teaching preschool for 17 years.
I’m overjoyed to return to SFS after being a co-lead Pre-K teacher at Almaden Country Day School in San Jose for two years. Being back in the Preschool 3 classroom has been joyful, as I take pride in being a gentle and patient educator who makes the children feel safe, seen, heard, and respected.
In my free time, I enjoy playing board games (my collection now includes close to 300 games, and I started a local gaming meet-up in the South Bay), learning to cook new recipes, traveling, reading, and spending time with my fiancé and my Corgi.
