I am native to the Bay Area, from just across the Carquinez bridge, Vallejo. After 4 years of attending and playing college basketball at San Francisco State (Go Gators), I relocated to Los Angeles. Once there, I continued my studies at Cal State Dominguez Hills, where I obtained a B.A. in Psychology with a focus on Adolescent Development. During that time I also became certified in Behavior Therapy for Early Childhood Development.
While in Los Angeles, I pursued my passion for teaching and coaching. After 10 years of serving independent schools in Los Angeles as a Health & Wellness teacher and Athletics Director, I decided to come back home to the Bay Area. I look forward to teaching and embracing the diverse community that The San Francisco School has to offer.
In my free time I enjoy playing basketball, hiking with my dog, traveling and the company of my family.
