Early childhood education has been my passion for more than 33 years, and I am so excited to be joining The San Francisco School community. I hold a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development and a master's degree in Early Childhood Education from San Francisco State University.
My goal is to create a classroom where children love to learn and grow academically as well as socially and emotionally. Through play, curiosity, collaboration, and humor, we will build a caring classroom community together. I strive to help children see themselves as resilient, flexible, and "Kindness Heroes" as they learn how to navigate and understand the world around them.
Becoming a parent 16 years ago added a new dimension to my work as an educator. While it didn't change my philosophy of early childhood education, it deepened my compassion and understanding for how to support parents.
Outside the classroom, you'll often find me cheering on my son at his baseball games, taking dance classes, or enjoying long walks with my two dogs, Mochi and Latte.
