Learning Specialist
I was drawn to The San Francisco School based on its values of community, diversity, and commitment to the arts.
I love coming to work each day with such enthusiastic and engaged students, as well as a talented, dedicated, and passionate group of colleagues.
I grew up in the Bay Area and absolutely love it here. I went to high school at Junipero Serra in San Mateo. I studied Communications and Philosophy at UC Santa Barbara. I earned my teaching credential at Sacramento State. I’ve been a teacher since 2003. Prior to coming to SFS, I worked as a special education teacher in Berkeley for seven years. I’ve worked with students from elementary through high school in my career.
I live in Noe Valley with my wife, Rebecca, and two sons. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and the outdoors.
