  • SFS’s Family Science Night A Success!

    The Family Association hosted its first, of what we hope will be many, Family Science Night. Facilitated by our friends at the Lawrence Hall of Science and lots of SFS volunteers, the event was an exciting and engaging success! 

  • Using (the) Force: Second Grade’s Simple Machines

    Second Graders started a new inquiry-based unit, experimenting with simple machines to better understand how they make work easier

  • One Touch of Nature

    Middle School students portrayed the beauty of northern California’s Butte County region in paintings of its natural world, then created a calendar to raise money for victims of the Camp Fire.

  • Headspace: ’Tis The Season To Be Grateful

    This is the perfect time of year to curl up with a good book filled with important messages!

  • Families4Families Initiative Takes Off!

    In the initiative’s first event, the SFS community had the chance to meet with Meghan Freebeck, founder of Simply the Basics and CEO of Project Homeless Connect.
